Testimonials

Our little girl started speaking when she was 4 and a half years old, mostly using only the beginnings of words. She communicated using a few words and was very sensory sensitive, along with having auditory hypersensitivity.

We completed the 10-day home therapy program. Multiple videos were recorded of each training, which I immediately forwarded to Tünde. During the 10 days, I was constantly in contact with her over the phone.

After the therapy, there were many changes. At first, it only seemed like she could handle noise better, primarily machine noise. I could vacuum or blow-dry her hair while she was home, I just had to let her know beforehand that I was going to turn it on, and everything was fine. She no longer got startled while walking down the street if a motorbike drove past us. However, her speech became even more garbled and less understandable than before the training.

The miracle happened two months after the first AIT/FST! Suddenly, from one moment to the next, the child started to speak in clear, understandable sentences (5-6 words long). From that moment on, we could say that our child was speaking. It was a huge joy!

We completed the second training after 10 months of the first AIT. It didn't bring as big of a miracle, but maybe it wasn't necessary. Both the first and second were very good stress-relievers for our daughter, which is a constant concern for her. This helped the child cope with the tension caused by school during both winters.

We are very grateful to Tunde for finding this opportunity.

We first came into contact with Tunde years ago as we looked for ways we could improve the quality of speech for our sons, one of whom has Autism and the other who demonstrates traits that could indicate dyslexia, dyspraxia or other learning difficulties but who is currently undiagnosed in this respect. Tunde came recommended via a mutual friend and we spoke to her several times prior to our initial face to face meeting to discuss what AIT was, how it would be implemented and all other important factors.

When we met in person Tunde was very generous with her time, and knowledge, explaining carefully what we would do and how the boys would initially be assessed. At that time it became apparent that only one of them would be able to fully participate and he then sat through the calibration exercises and Tunde tailored his programme accordingly, gave us further usage instructions an left us with the kit.

Previous to all of this our son had taken a detailed audio test to understand whether he was hearing sounds correctly, he had scored 40%, clearly indicating that there were aspects with parts of his hearing, some sounds were not coming through properly. About three months after the AIT course was completed, we redid the test and his score was 80%.

Although the actual process was not enjoyable, the sounds heard being uncomfortable, it was clear that the benefits have outweighed small temporary difficulties and we would recommend both the programme and Tunde as a facilitator.

AIT/FST has been tremendously helpful and has transformed our lives, along with the dietary modifications (gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free). K started speaking in short sentences after the first AIT/FST in December 2017, when he was 4 years old.

Prior to that, he used to have daily meltdowns. After the AIT/FST therapy, he began to change - he became happier, his behaviour improved almost immediately, and he would even use the hand dryer in public toilets and listen to music.

He underwent AIT/FST three times (Dec 2017, May 2018, May 2019), which was a wonderful experience for us to witness his daily improvement after each therapy session. We were finally able to get to know our beautiful son's personality! I would definitely recommend AIT/FST.

The home programme worked well for us as we were able to do it before and after school. It's unbelievable how many milestones we have achieved since he started AIT in 2017. He is almost 10 years old now, studying in a mainstream primary school. He is academically advanced and all of his teachers tell me he behaves well in class. He is thriving at school and excited to go every day. He is confident in trying new things and activities. He has recently started swimming and absolutely loves it. He loves reading books, which is a great achievement considering he struggled with reading two years ago. Making music on his tablet is one of his hobbies, and I am proud to say that some of his works are wonderful.

AIT has truly opened up our lives, and most importantly, it has given K the opportunity to thrive in society and enjoy a good life. He is a wonderful boy who brings so much joy and fun to our lives.
