I discovered my profession as a special needs educator and therapist thanks to my eldest daughter, whose birth set me on this challenging but wonderful path. Through her, I have a strong motivation to constantly update and enhance my knowledge. And thanks to her, I continue to enjoy the best of both worlds.
I graduated from the Apáczai Csere János Faculty at the University of West Hungary with a degree in special education. I specialised in special education for children with learning disabilities and learning disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. My thesis focused on the evaluation and development of speech perception and comprehension in bilingual children.
Following my studies, I started a closer collaboration with the Gézengúz Foundation in Győr, working on an international project exploring the possibilities of early diagnosis and intervention in the V4 countries. You can learn more about the successful project here: children’s rehabilitation in V4 countries
Recently, I have returned to early development and completed the BKFK-SEED Development Scale – Sewall Early Educational Development Scale course, which enables me to diagnose and develop children at the right time.
In recent years, my professional focus has mainly been on AIT/FST training, which involves dealing with APD (Auditory Processing Disorder) on a daily basis.
I am honoured to have been entrusted by Rosalie Seymour with the training of professionals in Europe. Since 2018, I have been training and educating new colleagues, which has also opened new horizons in my profession. To meet this challenge, I completed the two-year training course in Audiological Assisting and Hearing Acoustics accredited by Semmelweis University in Budapest.
I am honoured by the trust of my dear colleagues who elected me as President of the Hungarian AIT/FST Association.
My family and I moved to England for the Summerhill School, so that our children could attend this famous school. Summerhill is the oldest democratic school, and its first rule is that attendance is not compulsory.
I am a great admirer of Sir Ken Robinson, Sugata Mitra and Charlie Chaplin
I do not believe in expectations, I believe much more in unconditional acceptance!
